For over 30 years, Mr. Peterson’s career has focused primarily on buying and growing businesses representing a broad range of industries including industrial services, power distribution, commercial insurance, residential security, and commercial construction. He has established a record of achieving significant value creation by cultivating strong management teams, utilizing operational excellence, and leveraging strategic acquisitions.

Serving as the CEO for over a decade, Mr. Peterson recently sold Superior Industrial Maintenance Company, a national industrial services specialty contractor, and has transitioned as the company’s Chairman. He continues to provide board level strategic oversight to Wade Associates, ACM, and Ratzlaff Construction.

Prior to his ownership of Superior Industrial, Mr. Peterson served as owner and CEO of Elk Products and Hi-Tech Fuses, Inc. His career began in management consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as marketing management positions with J&J and 3M.

Mr. Peterson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Kennan-Flagler Business School where he earned an MBA. Before attending UNC, he graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Industrial Engineering.
